Women's Guild

 

Women's Guild Mission Statement:

To help our congregation in creating Christian fellowship among the women of the parish, and to support the church financially through fundraiser programs.

Meetings:

Meetings are held two-three times a year, as they are announced in the church newsletter and calendar. The luncheon meetings are held in the Church social hall.

The Women’s guild holds its Spring and Fall gift auctions annually.
The Women's Guild members also help the church with all its projects during the year: stuffed cabbage, kolbasz, hurka and kalacs sales, dinners, the Hungarian Festival and Christmas bazaar.

Mission:

We are proud to run our annual “God’s Love Free Winter Coats” project. The people who receive coats and warm clothing are always very grateful to our church.

Church Men's Club

Men's Club Purpose:

To help our congregation in generating Christian fellowship among the men of the parish, and to support the church through fundraiser programs.

Meetings:

The Men's Club holds its meetings 4 times a year, and all our members and friends are welcomed to join. The meetings are usually held on the first Saturdays of September, November, January and March. The meetings are held in the Church's Social Hall, start at 10:00 am and close with lunch. Please check at the church office (732-828-3165) for accurate dates, or look up the meeting dates in our. Mission:

Certain percentage of the proceeds from our fundraiser dinners are dedicated to support various mission projects in our local community (Support to Ronald McDonald House, soup kitchens and food banks)

Church Choir

Our Congregation has two choirs presently serving our church.

The English Church Choir:

The main choir of our church - has been serving our congregation for many decades. It has 10-15 members, and sing during our services from September to June once or twice a month, during the church holidays seasons on every Sunday.

Choir practices are held between the English and Hungarian services (10:30-11:15 am) in a Choir Rehearsal Room on the second floor, every Sunday from September to May.

Hungarian Choir:

A small hungarian core has just recently been established. It has 5-8 members, and participate in our worship services usually 5-6 times a year.

Choir practices are held between the English and Hungarian services (10:30-11:15 am) at the organ in the choir loft every Sunday from September to May.

All of God's children are welcome to sing with our choirs, from those vocally blessed to the people who simply love to sing Gods praise!
